a steady Delaware punter with proven field-position value
In his 2016 season for Delaware, Will Stephenson averaged 41.3 yards on 55 punts, pinned 18 inside the 20, and did not have a punt blocked, showing he was a reliable field-position weapon rather than just a volume specialist.[1][2] The standout differentiator was consistency under pressure: he stepped in immediately after transferring from NC State, handled holding duties too, and earned Delaware’s Blue Hen Touchdown Club Outstanding Senior Special Teams Player honor, which signals trust, maturity, and a team-first edge.[1]
