Phoenix Evans brings instinctive, versatile back-end coverage upside
Phoenix Evans is a rising defensive back prospect whose calling card is versatility, instinctive play, and ball production, with recruiting evaluations describing him as able to play nickel, single-high safety, and corner. In the 2025-26 season at Don Bosco Prep, he posted 39 total tackles, 11 passes defensed, and 1 fumble recovery, signaling active coverage impact. He profiles as a fit for teams that value smart, adaptable DBs who can move around the formation and make plays on the ball rather than just rack up tackles.
