Katie Hawkins brings veteran poise, size, and playmaking to Santa Clara's perimeter
Hawkins profiles as a tough, versatile 5-10 guard-forward whose value goes beyond box-score noise: Santa Clara has long described her as a player with an uncommon size-skill mix who can handle multiple perimeter roles, distribute the ball, and punish defenses in the paint. In the 2025-26 season, she recently posted 18 points and six assists in a close loss at Pacific, and she has shown high-end playmaking flash with 150 assists on the season, good for eighth on the program’s single-season list. If you want a connector who can score, pass, and fit multiple lineup shapes, she’s a very sensible fit.
