Antonio Thomas brings proven ball-hawking instincts and veteran defensive back value to Alabama State
Antonio Thomas appears to be a smart fit for a secondary-needy team: the Alabama State safety profile points to a defensive back with playmaking instincts, and his high school résumé included first-team all-state honors after a senior season with 70 tackles and 4 interceptions, including a 95-yard pick-six. That kind of production suggests range, toughness, and a nose for the football—exactly the traits coaches love in a safety. Reliable public stat and recruiting pages don’t provide a full current-season college stat line here, but the differentiator is clear: Thomas has a history of impact plays, not just clean-up tackles.
