Djay Jones brings Georgia Tech a developmental defensive back with upside
Djay Jones is a **Georgia Tech safety** whose appeal is less about splashy box-score numbers and more about projection: he profiles as a physical, assignment-aware defender who can add depth and competition in the secondary. Reliable public production data on his current Tech role is limited, so the key takeaway is fit—he looks like a player who could help on special teams and in rotational snaps if he continues to sharpen consistency, tackling reliability, and coverage processing. If you want upside and toughness over instant star power, he’s worth monitoring.
