Cliff Cole brings size, power, and proven run-blocking upside to Gardner-Webb’s offensive line
Cole is a big-bodied interior lineman at **6-3, 303** who arrived at Gardner-Webb with a reputation for size, strength, and versatility, and the roster notes said he was competing for snaps at right guard as a reserve in 2019 after playing in nine games the year before.[5] His background matters: at Northview Academy he earned All-County, All-Region, and Region 1-3A Lineman of the Year honors, suggesting real drive and line-of-scrimmage physicality rather than just raw measurables.[5] He looks like a fit for teams that value tough, developmental interior depth with special-teams flexibility and a mauling run-game profile.[5]
