Albert Perez adds veteran center pedigree, but current Wyoming status is unclear
Albert Perez was a decorated junior-college center before joining Wyoming, earning First Team All-Conference honors in back-to-back seasons at East Los Angeles Community College, which points to leverage, consistency, and line-call polish at the pivot[1]. However, the available roster data does not clearly show him as an active 2026 Cowboys contributor, so the biggest takeaway is the background: he profiles as a sturdy, experienced interior blocker rather than a flashy stat-stuffer, which is exactly the kind of unsung fit teams chase when they want their offense to stay on schedule[1][4].
