High-Energy Guard with Elite Hustle, Though Stats Reflect Limited Role
Andre' Southern, the 5-9, 170-pound point guard from Yazoo City, MS, brings unmatched intensity and defensive hustle to Grambling State, often outplaying his modest 1.2 PPG and 21.7% FG% through sheer effort and court vision. While his college stats are limited due to a backup role in the 2025-26 season, his recruiting profile highlights elite agility and a 'never-out-of-it' mentality that makes him a high-fit for teams needing a spark off the bench. He has no known injury history, and his personality is described as resilient and team-first—ideal for cultures valuing grit over flash. Care for him if you want a player who elevates team morale; he’s a good fit for teams seeking intensity, not a primary scorer.
