High-upside NDSU edge with proven disruption flashes
In the 2023 season, Gannon Williams appeared in two games for North Dakota State and recorded a solo sack against Western Illinois, a small sample but a real flash of pass-rush juice. At 6-foot-3 and 234 pounds, he profiles as a compact, physical DE who can fit the Bison mold: tough, developmental, and built to win with effort and leverage rather than pure hype. He’s not a stat-padding headline yet, but the sack shows why coaches keep betting on him—there’s upside if his snap count and consistency grow.
