Lisa Marraffino gives New Orleans an old-school center presence
Lisa Marraffino is a New Orleans Privateers center whose profile points to a traditional post anchor: size, interior toughness, and the ability to set the tone early in games. Publicly available current-season stat detail is limited, but historical coverage shows her contributing as a starting center for New Orleans, including a 16-point effort against Wake Forest in a December 2000 game. That kind of frontcourt presence matters if a team wants interior scoring, physical rebounding, and a player comfortable battling in the paint rather than chasing highlight reels.
