steady, versatile forward with proven scoring touch
Alex Dorr’s Iowa State stint dates to the 2009-10 season, when the 6-7 forward appeared in 17 games as a recruited walk-on and gave the Cyclones a hard-nosed, low-maintenance frontcourt option; he also arrived with a strong Norwalk résumé, including 20.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game as a senior and first-team all-state honors. The main appeal is his versatility and effort: he could score, rebound, and fit into a team concept without needing the spotlight. For a roster looking for toughness, feel, and a player who competes every possession, Dorr checks the glue-guy box with a little extra pop.
