veteran South Dakota State DL with proven size, strength and FCS experience
Whitsell profiles as a solid, developmental defensive lineman for South Dakota State: at 6-2, 276 pounds, he brought classic interior-DL size and has FCS game experience with the Jackrabbits, while his recruiting profile listed a 5.31 forty and no major national ranking, suggesting a more workmanlike than flashy prospect. Because the available sources do not show recent production or updated injury notes, the best read is that his value is in fit, physicality and depth rather than headline statistics.[1][2][3][5]
