Carter Barth brings polished strike-throwing to Brown’s rotation
Barth enters Brown as a **right-handed pitcher** with a strong prep track record: Brown lists him with a **1.21 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 52 innings** as a senior in 2024, which points to real bat-missing ability and command[4]. Recruiting services also listed him as a notable prep arm, giving him added credibility as a prospect[2][3]. For a college staff, the appeal is his combination of **efficiency, strikeouts, and proven competitiveness**—the kind of pitcher who can stabilize a staff if the stuff continues to play against better hitters[4].
