a savvy Delaware State guard with academic grit and veteran poise
Samantha Koonce is listed as a Delaware State women’s basketball guard from Forestville, Maryland, and her profile shows the kind of dependable, coach-friendly player who brings structure and stability to a backcourt[1][2]. She was a Commissioner's All-Academic Award winner for Delaware State in 2009, which points to discipline and reliability off the court, while her school’s historical records place her in the program’s 2007-09 era[3][4]. The available public data is sparse on stat-line production, but the bigger takeaway is that she fits the mold of a smart, composed guard who likely helps more than she flashes—exactly the kind of low-drama, high-trust piece good teams love[1][3][4].
