Anthony Mascuilli is emerging as a high-impact, high-IQ infielder for UMBC
Mascuilli is a contact-driven, on-base-oriented third baseman who broke through in 2025 with a .303 average, team-high 31 walks, 40 hits, and 21 RBI while earning America East All-Rookie honors and preseason all-conference recognition for 2026. He adds value with smart baserunning, defensive reliability, and clutch production, including a four-hit, game-winning performance against UMass Lowell and a five-RBI game in 2026. For teams, he looks like a gritty, adaptable middle-of-the-lineup bat with enough discipline and toughness to fit competitive college baseball.
