Jameson Martin’s power-speed pop is real, but the bat-to-ball consistency still needs polish
In the 2025 season, Jameson Martin flashed real upside for Minnesota: he played in 42 games, hit .213 with seven home runs, 20 RBIs, and an .751 OPS, then carried that momentum into summer ball by leading Willmar with 40 hits, 35 runs, 32 RBIs, and eight homers. He’s a right-handed, athletic middle infielder with legit pop, run production, and some pedigree as a former top-50 Illinois prospect. The fit is appealing if a team wants upside, energy, and infield athleticism—but the swing-and-miss and on-base consistency remain the swing factor.
