Gerald Jones III brings low-minute, interior-minded forward depth to Chicago State
Jones is a defensive-rebounding forward whose college résumé shows limited NCAA sample size so far, but a clear ability to finish efficiently around the rim and contribute with boards and shot blocking. In 2023-24 at USF, he played eight games and posted 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks, with a career-high 6 points and 4 rebounds in a game against Hofstra; before that, he averaged 7.4 points and 4.5 rebounds at Saddleback College. If you want a physical, energy-first frontcourt piece who can give you effort, size, and some rim protection rather than polished scoring volume, he’s a plausible fit.[3][1]
