Physical, all-around guard who arrived at Old Dominion with a winning résumé
Mauras entered Old Dominion as a high-motor guard with a reputation for doing a little of everything: in high school he averaged 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists as a senior, while also leading Reading High to a 24-6 season and earning county honors. That profile suggests a tough, versatile backcourt piece who impacts winning beyond scoring, with rebounding and playmaking standing out for a guard. The main reason to care: he looked like a connective, team-first fit rather than a pure volume scorer, which can be valuable for coaches wanting versatility and grit.[4]
