veteran UCLA ballhawk with proven playmaking chops
Sheldon Price’s defining trait was disruption: in the 2012 season, the UCLA cornerback tied the school record by intercepting three Houston passes and finished with four interceptions, while also ranking tied for 17th in the Pac-12 in passes defended in 2011. He brought NFL-caliber length and a physical style, plus a knack for forcing turnovers and finishing tackles, making him more than a cover guy. That said, his value was built on instincts and competitiveness as much as raw speed—exactly the kind of no-nonsense DB who can fit a defense that wants attitude on the edge.
