J.R. Ridgner is a physical, high-motor linebacker with proven production from Morgan Park
Ridgner brings a classic linebacker profile: physicality, tackling volume, and pass-rush pop, with his high school resume showing 62 solo tackles, 18 assists, and 6 sacks as a senior at Morgan Park. Eastern Illinois listed him as a linebacker, and that background suggests a player who can fit a defense that values toughness and backfield disruption. The key question for a team is projection: he looks like a competitive, assignment-driven defender with upside if his instincts and coverage game keep developing.
