Jourdan Blake brings veteran versatility and special-teams grit to SMU
Jourdan Blake is a former Baylor-to-SMU cornerback whose game was built more on toughness, versatility, and special-teams value than splashy box-score numbers; in his college career, he was primarily a special teamer and finished with 7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 pass breakup, and 2 starts. He’s the kind of player coaches tend to trust for his work ethic and football background, but his playing impact was more depth and reliability than high-end production, so he fits best as a steady culture piece rather than a headline-grabbing star.
