Rasean Simpson gives Morgan State a proven, veteran two-way wing with rebounding bite
Rasean Simpson is a physical, high-motor guard/wing who has already shown he can score, rebound, and create extra possessions for Morgan State; in the 2015-16 season he averaged 12.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, and he started 21 of 25 games while ranking among the MEAC leaders in rebounds and steals. That profile says “glue guy with upside”: tough, active, and disruptive, with enough production to matter even when the shot isn’t falling. If you need intensity, versatility, and a player who competes like every loose ball owes him money, Simpson fits.
