DeJuan Groce was a ball-hawking Nebraska CB with elite playmaking instincts
Groce’s 2002 Nebraska season stands out because he paired **61 total tackles**, **four interceptions**, and **seven pass breakups** with a reputation for big-play impact; he also earned **First-team All-American** and **Consensus All-Big 12** honors, which signals that his value went beyond raw stats[1][5]. Nebraska and profile sources note he set or tied **four school records**, reinforcing that his differentiator was playmaking, not just coverage volume[3]. For a team looking for a corner who can **attack the football**, handle pressure, and bring proven high-level production, he profiles as a strong fit[1][5].
