Gunnar Lym brings proven turnover production and title-tested toughness to UND's secondary
Lym is a redshirt sophomore safety/DB at North Dakota who arrives with a strong high-school résumé: 209 career tackles, 11 interceptions, nine touchdowns, and three straight Class B state titles, plus three all-conference honors. He stands out for production, versatility, and ball skills rather than raw stats at the college level so far, since he redshirted in 2024 and has no recorded UND game stats yet. That makes him a developmental defensive-back fit: physical, experienced, and apparently accustomed to winning programs.
