Corey Patterson brings veteran secondary depth and proven DB coaching instincts
Corey Patterson is known more for his coaching background than a current playing résumé, but his fit for a defensive back role is the kind built on discipline, technique, and football IQ rather than flash. He has a track record of developing skill-position players at the college level, which suggests a detailed, teaching-oriented approach that helps him read routes, anticipate plays, and bring consistency. If your team wants a DB who values assignment soundness, competitive edge, and reliability over highlight-reel gambles, Patterson profiles as a smart fit.
