High-upside Samford DB with measurable size and back-end versatility
Kyle Morton’s appeal is his physical profile and positional value as a defensive back, giving Samford a lengthier, rangier presence on the back end at 6'6" and 194 pounds. He profiles as a player who can help with coverage range and matchup flexibility, which matters more than raw stat lines when projecting fit in a defense. There isn’t enough reliable public performance data in the available results to make a strong current-form claim, so his value should be judged mainly on upside, frame, and how well he translates that size into consistency and technique.
