gritty two-way guard with proven Big East poise
Darryl Morsell’s defining value was his toughness: in the 2021–22 season at Marquette, he averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while starting all 31 games, giving the Golden Eagles a veteran, high-motor perimeter stopper and secondary creator[2][6]. He was praised for his physical defense, winning mentality and leadership, with his game translating well to teams that want intensity, reliability and edge over pure flash[6][8].
