Versatile safety with SEC-ready length and experience
In the 2025 season, Mose Phillips III appeared in 11 games for Missouri and posted 5 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 pass breakup, showing the kind of utility a defense can plug into multiple roles. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound safety arrived with real production from Virginia Tech, where he logged 92 career tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, 3 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles in 2023-24. His value is in versatility, size, and proven ball disruption; the catch is that his Missouri stint was more rotational than featured, so he fits best as a flexible, physical DB rather than a headline star.
