Josh Cooney is a disruptive, starting-caliber interior DL for Lehigh
Josh Cooney looks like a legitimate impact piece on Lehigh’s defensive front: in the 2025 season, he played all 12 games and posted 36 tackles, 18 solo stops, and 4 sacks, and Lehigh says he is expected to compete for a starting defensive tackle job.[1] At 6-foot-1 and 260 pounds, he brings the kind of compact leverage and production that can translate to interior run-stopping with pass-rush punch.[1] If you want a DL who already has game reps, backfield disruption, and clear upside for a bigger role, he fits the profile.[1]
