Ex-NFL Star Turned Tulsa Interim HC, Not Cal Poly LB
No current college or high school LB named Ryan Switzer plays for Cal Poly Mustangs; this Ryan Switzer is the former UNC All-American WR (244 catches, 2,907 yards, 19 TDs 2013-16) and NFL vet who served as Tulsa's interim head coach in 2024, developing stars like Kamdyn Benjamin (70 rec, 822 yds, 6 TDs, led American in receptions). His elite return skills (20.9 yds avg, 5 PR TDs as 2013 freshman) and coaching intensity make him a proven leader, but he's not available as a player—ideal for teams seeking a dynamic position coach instead.
