Brenna Gates brought bruising interior production and veteran poise to Southern Utah
Brenna Gates was a 6-foot-4 center for Southern Utah who provided inside scoring, rebounding, and shot blocking, with game logs showing double-digit scoring nights and a steady two-way presence in the 2014-15 season. Her differentiators were size, physicality, and reliable finishing around the rim; she also drew praise in a local feature for starting 11 of the team’s first 14 games and averaging 10.4 points per game in the 2014-15 season. That profile says “plug-in interior anchor” — the kind of player who helps a team survive the paint battle.
