Versatile Appalachian State OL Who Earned Early Game Action
Madison Malone is a former Appalachian State offensive tackle who redshirted in 2014 and saw action in six games in 2015, logging 53 snaps and a 61-percent technique grade according to App State Athletics. The big takeaway: he was already trusted enough to contribute as a redshirt freshman, which usually signals solid technical readiness and coach confidence in a lineman’s assignment discipline. Recruiting profiles listed him around 6-4 to 6-4.5 and 257-274 pounds, giving him the frame to develop into a functional tackle. If you want an OL prospect with early experience and a reputation for steady work, Malone fits that profile.
