DJ Jones brings veteran point-guard juice to Middle Tennessee
Jones is a junior 5-foot-10 guard for Middle Tennessee who transferred in with a reputation for playmaking and toughness after averaging 14 points and 4 assists at Southwest Tennessee, and his profile suggests a compact, energetic lead guard who can organize an offense and compete with edge. He looks like a fit for teams that value quickness, table-setting, and poise over pure size, though his smaller frame means he has to win with speed, decision-making, and grit rather than mismatch hunting.
