veteran Aztec OL with a power-first edge
Matamua brings the kind of offensive-line profile coaches value: size, physicality, and experience in a position group where reliability matters as much as flash. A San Diego State recruit, he was identified as an offensive lineman in Aztecs coverage, and his appeal is less about box-score stats than about trench toughness, blocking consistency, and being able to compete in a culture that values hard-nosed football. If you need an interior or depth piece who can add grit, stability, and developmental upside, he fits the bill.
