DeSoto-bred defensive guard with big-program grit
Mylasia Smith arrived at Tarleton State as a 2024 DeSoto guard known for winning habits, defensive edge, and high-pressure poise; in high school she helped lead DeSoto to two 6A titles and earned District 11-6A Co-Defensive MVP plus Academic All-District honors. Her college resume is still early, but she’s a compact 5-6 guard who projects as a disruptive on-ball defender and low-mistake fit for a team that values toughness, energy, and team-first play.
