Fluid, Intense LB with Man-Coverage Versatility for BYU
Mark Staffieri, a 6-3, 230-lb linebacker from Torrey Pines, CA, stands out for his fluidity, speed, and quick feet that enable him to defend slot receivers in man coverage—a rare differentiator for an LB. Though his 2024-2025 stats show 5 total tackles (407th of 852 LBs), his intensity and strong tackling style elevate his on-field impact beyond numbers. With no recorded injury history and a professional, driven personality, Staffieri is a high-fit prospect for teams needing versatile, coverage-capable linebackers who bring both physicality and tactical intelligence.
