High-IQ Penn Guard With Defensive Grit
Ray Jerome’s Penn profile points to a steady, detail-oriented guard who brings value beyond scoring: in 2019-20 he averaged 2.5 points, 1.3 rebounds, 13 assists, nine steals and two blocks, suggesting a connector who can defend, handle the ball and make winning plays without forcing shots.[6] Penn’s own notes on him also emphasize his practice intensity and focus, which supports the case that he can fit teams that value toughness, discipline and reliability over flashy production.[4][6]
