Lance Washington brings disruptive linebacker energy to CCSU’s defense
Washington is a linebacker worth watching because Central Connecticut’s defense has been a turnover-creating, backfield-attacking unit, and that kind of environment rewards players who play fast, finish tackles, and make offenses uncomfortable. The biggest draw is fit: if he’s a high-motor, physical LB with special-teams value and the ability to thrive in a pressure-heavy system, he can help a team that wants toughness and production beyond the box score. Reliable public stat detail on his individual 2025 performance is limited, so his value is best judged by role, traits, and how he fits a defense built to force mistakes.
