Early-Career WCU Safety With a Tackling Mindset
Ryan Nesby is a 6-foot, 170-pound sophomore safety for Western Carolina; the clearest verifiable on-field note in the available record is that he delivered 8 tackles in a 2003 game against Elon, which points to a physical, involved defender who shows up around the ball. [3][1] Beyond that snapshot, public stats are sparse, so his appeal is mostly about projection: a lean defensive back with enough size to contribute in run support and the kind of effort profile coaches usually want in a depth or development piece.
