proven Spartan veteran with trench-ready durability
Jamien Banks is a former Norfolk State offensive lineman who, in the 2007 season, started all 11 games at left guard and earned MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping NSU pile up a season-high 272 rushing yards against Florida A&M. His value is the kind coaches love: steady, assignment-sound, and physical enough to grade out above 80 percent in multiple games. At 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, he brings size and experience, and the key differentiator is reliability — he wasn’t just on the field, he was shaping it.
