Big-bodied righty with swing-and-miss upside, but still searching for command consistency
Perkowski is a 6'4" right-handed pitcher whose best selling point is strikeout ability: he posted a 1.81 ERA with 60 strikeouts in 38.2 innings at Penn State in 2024, but his 2026 Dayton sample has been rocky, with a 19.80 ERA and 6 strikeouts in 5.0 innings. That contrast suggests real arm talent and power stuff, but also some command volatility. As a fit, he looks like a developmental piece for a staff that can help sharpen his control and channel his swing-and-miss potential.
