Cal Leonard brings left-handed versatility and high-contact pop to UNF
Cal Leonard is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound redshirt junior utility player for North Florida, and his best recent showing came in the 2025 season when he hit .333 with a .500 on-base percentage and .833 OPS in limited action, plus a walk and RBI in just four games. He looks like a smart fit for a roster that values versatility, steady bats, and academic discipline, with UNF listing him on the ASUN Academic Honor Roll. The main appeal: a local Jacksonville product with a left-handed bat, a pro-ready frame, and enough athletic background to handle multiple roles without needing the spotlight.
