High-Intensity DB with Elite Tackling and Coverage Versatility
Adam Poundstone (5'9", 193 lbs) is a graduate defensive back for Western Illinois who stands out for his relentless intensity, rare tackling ability at the DB position, and seamless coverage versatility across slot and outside roles. Though he appeared in just six games in 2022 with one assisted tackle, his high school pedigree at St. Bede and graduate status signal a player refining his craft with championship-level focus. He has no known injury history, and his personality is described as fiercely competitive and team-first. Why care? Poundstone brings a differentiator: a DB who tackles like a linebacker without sacrificing speed. Is he a fit? Yes, for teams needing a high-motor, intelligent defender who can stop runs and cover passes equally well.
