Sofia Bowes brings size, versatility, and national-team momentum to Cal’s backcourt
Sofia Bowes is a 5-foot-10 junior guard for California who has moved into a meaningful role after arriving from San Ramon Valley HS, and she was selected for Poland’s U20 national team in 2026, a strong sign of her upside and competitive edge[1][10]. In 2024-25, she saw limited minutes as a freshman, but the bigger story is her profile: a long guard with multi-positional value, international experience, and the kind of development curve that can reward patient teams looking for two-way growth rather than instant fireworks[1][11][14].
