Reliable last-line defender for App State's secondary
Patrick Blalock brings **stability and production** to Appalachian State’s defense, having started all 12 games at free safety and finishing with **63 tackles** to rank fourth on the team and 32nd in the Southern Conference. His value is in his reliability, range, and willingness to be involved consistently from the back end, which makes him the kind of DB coaches trust in a rotation or starting role. For a team seeking a steady, fundamentally sound safety rather than a flashy stat-chaser, Blalock looks like a practical fit.
