Florida Gators Walk-On Legend from Yesteryear
Max Booker, a 6-2 guard who walked on for the Florida Gators in the 2001-02 season, brings hometown hustle from Atlanta's Chamblee Charter but posted minimal stats like 0.5 PPG as a freshman; now 41 and an unrestricted NBA free agent since going undrafted in 2005, he's a gritty underdog story of perseverance rather than current production—great for team chemistry and leadership, but not a fit for modern rosters seeking scoring punch or athletic upside.
