Jayci Finch brings veteran innings and rotation stability to Stony Brook
Finch looks like a reliable, high-volume lefty right now: Stony Brook’s 2026 pitching leader in wins (9) and ERA (2.85) after arriving from Weber State with more than 200 career innings and 80 appearances, which signals durability and experience in pressure spots.[1][2][4][9] Her value is less about eye-popping strikeout totals and more about giving a staff a steady, battle-tested arm who can eat innings, keep games manageable, and deliver the occasional gem — including a first career complete-game shutout highlighted by the program.[5][6]
