Jack Hughes brings proven NJCAA bat and polished infield value to Towson
A second-team NJCAA Division II All-American from Lackawanna College in 2025, Jack Hughes arrives at Towson with a legit middle-of-the-order pedigree and a reputation for producing in big spots. Towson lists him as a first baseman, and the appeal is straightforward: he offers experienced college hitting, physicality, and a ready-made upgrade path for the Tigers after a 21-35 season in 2025. The one caveat is sample-size context at the Division I level, but his all-conference résumé suggests a player with upside, toughness, and enough offensive maturity to fit a lineup looking for dependable contact and run production.
