Joseph McKay offers ECU veteran depth, but production has been extremely limited
In the 2021 season, Joseph McKay’s on-field footprint for East Carolina was tiny—just 4 carries for 14 yards—and later ECU roster information shows he was a redshirt sophomore/upperclassman back listed at 5-11, 209, with previous special-teams usage and only spot duty in game action. The useful takeaway: he profiles more as a physical depth piece than a headline back, so he’s a fit if a team wants size, experience in the program, and a grinder who can handle low-ego reps, but there isn’t enough recent production to project him as a featured runner.
