Monmouth DL Ian Simon: disruptive veteran presence with proven playmaking flashes
Ian Simon has shown he can be a disruptive defender, highlighted by a 2011 Monmouth game with 7 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, which points to an attack-minded style and real backfield pressure ability.[1] That kind of production makes him the sort of defensive lineman coaches like when they want intensity, toughness and turnover-creating upside rather than just gap-eating size. If you need a front-seven player who can change a drive with splash plays and bring veteran edge, Simon is worth a close look.[1]
